Mailform sends no eMail

Problem:
Integrated Mailform or Custom-Mailform of a CMSimple-Plugin are working but DO NOT send an eMail.

If you have this problem, check the following:
-> Check with your hosting-company, if you need to activate the mail-function of php.
-> Check, if there's an FAQ or Instruction available for activating the mail-function.
-> Take a look in your PHP-Configuration (phpinfo()), at the following parameters (most used settings):

• SMTP (localhost)
• smtp_port (25)
• sendmail_path (usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i)
• sendmail_from (empty)

If parameter 'sendmail_path' isn't filled, there's no mail-programm installed. In this case, contact your hosting-company.

On Host Europe you need to activate the mail-function by setting a sender-email-adress in the configuration under section 'scripts'.

Here the step-by-step solution (texts on the pics in german):

1. Login to your web-administration (KIS) with your account-data
   
   
   
2. Choose "Webhosting"
   
   
   
3. Go to "configure" (german: konfigurieren).
   
   
   
4. Go on to "Scripts" (german: Skripte)
   
   
   
5. Choose "Standard-E-Mail-Adress"
   
   
   
6. "Select an eMail-Adress" out of the drop-down-menu. You may need to create an eMail, if there's none existing. Activation-time may last up to 15 minutes.
