Have you tried CMSimple_XH 1.6.2? I suppose that it'll work on your server without the need for any (repeated) customizations.

with XH 1.6.2 everything OK

I made a fresh installation of CMSimple_XH-1.6.4 and I get al blanc page when I give in the URL

any suggestions?

You should enable the debug mode (i.e. rename userfiles/downloads/XHdebug.txt to userfiles/downloads/_XHdebug.txt). That might give some useful information.

Ok, I've changed the filename into _XHdebug.txt it contains <6>.

Usually, renaming the file should be enough to get a helpful error message instead of a blank browser window when requesting the domain. Unfortunately, we're out of luck here. Maybe the fatal error happens before CMSimple_XH actually enables the error_reporting.

Maybe one of the files has been corrupted during the FTP upload. Please try uploading all the files again, and have a look if all uploads are reported as being successful.
