Hi,
I tried to add a picture at the left of the mailform command.
I can see it in the edit mode, but not in the layout mode.
The page with the mailform command is a h1-page called "Kontakt". When I click on "Kontakt" the browser adressbar shows ....index.php?mailform. I would expect, that the browser looks for ...index.php?Kontakt...
Does this mean, that a change on the page Kontakt (containing the mailform command) is not possible, because the link is to a page called ...mailform?
I don't understand, why I can't see a picture added on a side with the mailform command.?
Does anybody have an idea.
Cheers
Rolf

Re: mailform and picture
Where do you want to locate your "picture"? Left of the menu button or left of the mail form?willi32 wrote:I tried to add a picture at the left of the mailform command.

Left of the button: should be easy, use CSS.
Left of the mail form: You have to change the mail.php file.
Use the plugin asform

The picture should be located at the left of the mailform.
Thanks for your information about mail.php. I had the the idea that this can't be solved only by editing the html-page.

Re: mailform and picture
As recommended by Till I use asform for the option to place a picture at the left.
I changed all colors in the plugin's stylesheet to 00ffff, no reaction: all colors remain the same including the red color for the
hint to fill all fields with a *.

Re: mailform and picture
The plugins do not always use all CSS id and class handles which are build in. You should read the source code and check what kind of CSS handles are available. I introduced lots of handles in asform but did not use them. The red colour of the required field's star is adjusted in the plugins config setting and not via CSS.
