Re: Cannot edit through FTP or browser
... my browser opens to the path of the file on my c drive...? It seems to me that you already have editted the files locally and thus your local references are stored in these files. Suggestion: 1. Install (if you don't have installed) some local webserver 2. Download the whole root content from t...

Re: Newbie help
Excactly. As long as you have any folder in your web root that's name is of only 2 letter, CMSimple considers it to be a "language clone" and tries to find corresponding flag to extend your languagemenu. Then CMSimple automatically creates the language driven content.htm in this folder. As long as y...

Log in and find: 1. Settings -> Language edit -> Site Title (it is the very top field) 2. Settings -> Language edit -> Title/mailform (it is the very top field) I woul not suggest necesserilly delete the guestbook. You could deside in the future to use it. If you don't need it right now, open your t...

Re: Upload plugin
Have a look on uBlog. It has the capability so send emails with attachemnts and messages with automatically resized pictures. If I am not wrong it can be configured so that also any other file format can be attached. But there are hundreds of mailer scripts that can simply be inserted using e.g. the...

Re: cmsimple_xh remove submenu from content pages
I just want to hide the submenus on my content pages, not from the menu. Cache problem? Ideas? That's it. Removing any mention of submenu(); both from content and/or tamplate.htm or pagedata.php shall remove the submenu from any page-subpage-sub-sub-page. The submenu in "menu"has nothing to do with...

Re: cmsimple_xh remove submenu from content pages
Hm, how can you see the submenu if it is not called from the template? The only possibility is, that the call #CMSimple $output.=submenu();# is called directlz on the page. Check if this code is not used on the pages. If you use CMsimple v.3-, edit your content.htm and find/replace this code with "n...

Re: how do i create a new page
Have you read the manual? And have you read how CMSimple splits the content? When you write the title of the page and assign it by header (h1,h2,h3...) and when you save it, new entry is created in the menu. Then openning this entry you get new empty page only with your title on the top. Read more a...
