The plugin works fine and reliably. I test it under CMSimple-XH-11-utf-8. And whatever I try, it doesn§t work as I expected. The coding doesn§t work. 'The delivered e-mails are wrong coded. As if the utf-8 would not be accepted. Has somebody experience as what and where to change? I have converted all files in [newsletter] allready. Nothing has changed.

It's no shame to ask for an answer if all efforts failed.
But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.

Hi Tata

Did you try to change encoding in phpmailer file class.phpmailer.php? The default is iso-8859-1.

That is it. THX. Now it works perfectly. Still one more question. I use h4 as the heading for articles and hr as the separator. In newsletter are the articles published without their headings, however. Why the heading are not published as well?

Hi Tata
I just released version 1.3. You can use all headers expect this reserved by CMSimple. Charset is now configurable through plugin configuration. Would you please test if you can switch to utf-8 this way.

Hi Jerry,

I have a problem using your plugin: I cannot subscribe more than one email address to the newsletter I created.
The first one works perfectly, after clicking on the confirmation link the email adress is added to the list. But with every further try, I cannot confirm the email adresses anymore. I receive the confirmation mail, but clicking the link only brings an error message saying that activation could not be completed.

I tried file permissions on txt-files, tried several reinstalls, tried various mail adresses, but couldn't get it to work.

Do you maybe have any idea what might cause that?

Cheers,
Lars

Edit: I am using CMSimple_XH 1.1.2 and Newsletter 1.7

Edit2: I found another problem with the newsletter plugin and opened a new topic.
