two tabs in my editor does not work anymore

Post by roze » Sun Mar 28, 2021 5:49 pm

I have a private-website on a Synology server.

I recently update to CMSimple_XH 1.7.4 Released: 2020-10-26

I've now 2 tabs that are not working:

What can I do to fix it?

Try (if possible) to scroll the page to the very top. Sometime - if the header is styled as fixed and the height is too big, a part of the content is covered by it and even some editor icons are inaccessible.
To test it, hide the header in your template, or check if anything other doesn't overlay the content. Eventually try to set the top margin of your content to something higher than the header.

But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.

Tata,

Thanks for responding.

But when I go over it with the mouse it changes colour and I see a little hand.
And when clicking: nothing happens

There's likely a JS issue. Check you browser console (F12 → Console) for error messages.

I recently have made a few changes: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=17250

Is this interfering with this problem?

When I look in the console I see this:

I don't know how to search in this...

When I look in the console I see this:
At the top, you can see that you're in the tab "Bronnen"; switch to "Console" there. Then reload the page, and see whether errors are reported in that console.

That explains the broken behavior, but I don't know why these resources couldn't be found. I suggest that you check that these files exists (e.g. plugins/fa/css/font-awesome.min.css). If they don't exist, you need to upload them; maybe try a full fresh install of CMSimple_XH in a subfolder.
