Design here, but no template...

Post by Nicky » Tue Oct 30, 2018 1:43 pm

Looking at Oldnema's Ferrariclub and Dating templates (also 'Interior' involved). I would really like to offer the template I have in mind to the community, , but unfortunately, I don't have the skills (html/css combinations)...

Changing images, colours, width etc. works for me, but not much more..

So, anyone interested to turn this into a Cmsimple template?

It's kind of old school, but some people seem to hold on to the traditional 'header, footer, navi, news' format... layout, it's so simple but just for that reason still really popular. Please note that fonts, images, colours are just for preview purposes, not very nice looking, but this is all about the 'background' (codes) of course.

Would be nice to offer such a simple clean template to use for cmsimple projects for all of the community.

Need more info, please send PM.

Hopefully,
Nicky

The only newer template that seems to fit is the template "fhs-old-style-but-flexy" by Frank (frase).
The basic structure should fit well, it is responsive and the browser support for Flexbox is quite good.

I have something else unfinished behind my "paywall". (Here)

Vielleicht finde ich irgendwann Zeit es fertigzustellen.

Wow! That's an awesome job!

Exactly what I have in mind, and not so 'unfinished', almost exactly based on the image I posted before.

If I can give one remark.. on small mobile screen the 'hamburger' menu seems to have a problem (appears a bit low on left side with some nav-text invisible), but surely this can be fixed, other 'fhs' templates do this perfectly.

Thanks for your time, super well done.

Ha!

Great job. However, for narrow devices I would style the navigation width to 100% and position it without top-margin, if possible also scrollable.

But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.

Bonjour, Nicky !

Hello Nicky!

Take a look at this.
This is explicit for you.

It is still a preview version.
Please test it very thoroughly!

If it is good, then there is an official version.

Thanks a lot Frase, I will test the template asap and keep you informed if anything could be improved.

But it looks super good, just what I had in mind.

Best regards!
