Where is the <ul> in toc() defined?

Natürlich habt ihr recht. Die Screenreader sollte man nicht vergessen.
Und tatsächlich verliert z.B. der Firefox dabei die CSS-Nummerierung.
Dennoch ist es eine ungeordnete Liste mit richtigen Einrückungen und allem Pipapo.
Die Vorleserin (bei mir Hedda) findet natürlich auch keine Nummern :cry:
Vielleicht ist das in diesem speziellen Fall gar nicht so tragisch. Es bleibt ein Menü und die Kapitel können angesprungen werden.

Nimmt es nicht so ernst. Ich versuche nur verschiedene Tricks. Falls ich schief gehe, ist es nur mein Zeitverlust. Doch lerne ich sehr viel Dank Euch. Da bin ich soweit gekommen: https://cmsimple.sk/numbering. Mir persönlich gefählt es ganz gut und ich kann mir auch gut vorstellen, dass es unter klar vorgestellten Hinweise auch gut gebraucht sein könnte.
Jetzt ist mir aufgefallen, dass - sollte es um e-Bücher gehen, neue Titel würden dann nur content.htm hochladen, das alte umnennen und das war's dann.
