These templates use "@media screen" resolution settings. They are fully adjustable almost to any screen/window (I hope at least). Tested with in FF 17.0.1 MAC,IE9 Win, Opera 12.11 MAC, Safari 6.0.2 MAC.
Under smaller resolutions the TOC-navigation dispappears and a MENU BUTTON appears over the content (thank to oldnema and Chris).
Enjoy and let me know if you find any bugs. At least - both W3C doesn't show neither any errors nor warnings .

I assume the problems with IE<=8 are caused by the HTML5 elements, which are not recognized by older browsers[1]. A viable solution might be to use html5shim, which should fix that---at least when JS is enabled in the browser.

[1] all major browser vendors allow their latest version to be used under WinXP---except MS <ADD>Well, Safari 6 isn't available for Windows at all!</ADD>
