Expandcontract_XH

Post by svasti » Mon Mar 24, 2014 3:51 pm

[Fehler] betr. Updatecheck !

Post by Der Zwerch » Wed Mar 26, 2014 7:15 am

Moin moin,

Ergebnis: >>>klick<<<.

Woran könnte das liegen?

Grüße

Right now I am testing this nicew plugin and have found that there seems to be an mistake in th ehelp file:

Code: Select all

{{{expand('page name'.'link text');}}}
doesn't work. No linked text is shown.

Code: Select all

{{{expand('page name','link text');}}}
shows the linked word and it opens the expanded container with "Close" button the opened hidden subpage is empty.

Yes, ist must be a comma. I am sorry I made a mistake in the help files. Argh, the font is too small on my screen!

??strange?? Something must be in the wrong place, as everything works on my site, as you can see there. What is your exact function call and URL?

Right now I am testing only locally and the function call is

Code: Select all

Congratulations on your new installation of CMSimple_XH. You can login now with the default {{{expand('Important_Advice','password');}}}, which you will find in the readme.txt of the download. Delete the readme.txt on your webserver, if you have uploaded it.

The login link can be found at the bottom of the page in the footer.
There is only the standard content used on the page, where the important advice is made as a separate hidden subpage "Important Advice".
The Main page the says:

Welcome to CMSimple_XH

Congratulations on your new installation of CMSimple_XH. You can login now with the default password

, which you will find in the readme.txt of the download. Delete the readme.txt on your webserver, if you have
uploaded it.

The login link can be found at the bottom of the page in the footer.

The space after "password" seems also to be some problem, even with the coma on the line beginning.

Using the link "password" this is the result:

Did you have a look at the generated HTML source code? Perhaps the plugin inserts the content of the page, but somewhat erroneous, so the browser does not display it.

The problem is the _
You are not supposed to enter an encoded page name, but the normal pagename.
Expandcontract compares the 1st parameter with all unchanged headings. So enter the heading without changing anything.

Fortunately the plugin is very simple.

I checked on my localhost, no problems here, even with space before and after and inside the 2nd parameter. It's a standard call with parameters which are entered the way parameters are usually entered.
