I just discovered CMSimple and I really like it, unfortunately I just read that the developer has ceased
to work on it, and this concerns me because if I use CMSimple in two years time I will be forced
to migrate my site somewhere else due to an out of date platform with possible unpatched
security holes.
Anyone here thinks CMSimple development stands any chance of being followed?
I would imagine people running CMSimple website may be as well thinking about the implications
of running their site on a platform no loger developed.
News site on CMSimple, good or bad idea?

Good morning,
I don't think you have to worry about the future of CMSimple. With CMSimple_XH, there is already a very good successor which developed further in the last six months than the original system did in the last years. Now that Peter has released CMSimple under GPL, the doors are open to create somthing even better without having to worry about any license issues...
I see a bright future for CMSimple!
Cheers,
Lars

The developer of CMSimple did not add any new features in the last years, not even small ones. It was just bug-fixes.
