Timeline for CMSimple_XH 1.7.0

Hi everybody!

The release of CMSimple_XH 1.7.0 has been considerably delayed, and I think we really have to rush now – otherwise I'm afraid we're going to waste plenty of time catering to XH 1.6 issues with regard to new PHP versions, and the general development of Web technologies. Also we're doing our user-base a disservice by not finishing up what we already did – even though we would have to postpone a lot of open feature requests to 1.8.

So I suggest the following timeline (in the hope that we'll be able to stick to it this time, at least roughly):

2017-03-17 Finish sprint #5
2017-04-24 Finish sprint #6 and release CMSimple_XH 1.7.0beta1
2017-05-28 Release CMSimple_XH 1.7.0rc1
2017-06-11 Release CMSimple_XH 1.7.0rc2
2017-06-25 Release CMSimple_XH 1.7.0

Note that in my opinion it is important to release XH 1.7.0 before end of June, so that we don't have to further extend the life-time of XH 1.6. While I would welcome a longer timeframe than a few weeks for users to upgrade to 1.7.0, I don't think this is reasonably doable.

Note also that this timeline implies only one further sprint after #5, but at least some additional improvements could be made during beta stage, and if sensible there could be further beta releases.

I hope everybody agrees with this timeline. If so, please brace yourselves – it's going to be a tough ride!
