Well, that has already happened in commit a390838. Not sure, why this had been merged and if there had been any voting, but I guess it's rather uncontroversial. Otherwise please complain! :)

Oops – I should have forwarded to the second page of the thread, where I would have found this info.

Anyhow, what remains is the question which markup (Microformat, RDFa, or whatever) we choose. Any suggestions?

That might not be a questions, which is hard to answer nowadays. As format RDFa Lite appears to be preferable over the alternatives, as it is simple like microdata, but also a W3C recommandation. The vocabulary from https://schema.org/ is the de-facto standard, anyway.

I just realized that now.
I think that's very good.
Only during the implementation with the start page we have to be careful.
According to the explanation, so I understand, the first page, the root /, WebSite, should be all other WebPages.
