Hello,
CMSimple 4.1.4 is ready for download, with new default template und new backend template
Default Template:

Backend Template:

The new backend template has no header, what, the hell, you need a header in the back end? A waste of space.
New downloads and an update CMSimple 4.0 => 4.1.4 are available.
Because a Bugfix is included in CMSimple 4.1.4, an update is recommended,

Demo new default template: http://www.ge-webdesign.de/plugindemo/? ... emo_Seiten

The reason for the new version was an old bug in the pagemanager. Furthermore I have tried to solve some problems on "bad configured servers", which delivers the pages in a wrong encoding.
Most important News CMSimple 4.1.3 => 4.1.4:
- Old Pagemanager Bug fixed
- utf-8 consistently hard encoded, adjustment of $ tx ['meta'] ['code page'] is ineffective now
- .htaccess file in the Root: AddDefaultCharset UTF-8
- html header will be sent
Have fun with the new CMSimple 4.1.4 and a Happy Feast of Pentecost

CMSimple 4.1.4 for download, with new templates
Re: CMSimple 4.1.4 for download, with new templates
Did you thik about a template with a newsbox on top? Or any other editable container? Maybe an optional header switch would be to think about.Gert wrote:The new backend template has no header, what, the hell, you need a header in the back end? A waste of space.
CMSimple.sk
It's no shame to ask for an answer if all efforts failed.
But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.

Re: CMSimple 4.1.4 for download, with new templates
I did it several times for customer projects, especially for linklists like:Tata wrote:Did you thik about a template with a newsbox on top? Or any other editable container? Maybe an optional header switch would be to think about.
legal notices | privacy statement | contact | about us | etc.
This links are leading to hidden pages. So the customer can maintain this linklist (and the hidden pages behind) himself.
But making templates for download or for the CMSimple Download is standardized business, imagine the user installs the template, and the header is empty, because there is no hidden page for the header.
Ok, I could add some more hidden pages to the download of CMSimple:
- headerbox
- belownavbox
- footerbox
- legal notices
- privacy statement
- etc.
But the templates shall also work in existing websites, that's why I only use News01 - 03 in standard templates,
