pluginloader and White pages

Im trying to install pluginloader but Im getting just white pages

1) edited config.php
$cf['plugins']['folder']="plugins"
web working
2) created plugins folder
web working
3) copy index.php a pluginloader folder
now just white page

if it is important the hosting is running olny on PHP Version 4.1.1 (but I dont find any requirements of pluginloader)

Now a tryied the pluginloader 1 beta5 and its working but the menumanager dont.
Has somebody pluginloader beta6, 7 or 8 (beta9/10/11 dont work)
or older menumanager than 2009?

What CMSimple version are you using - In CMSimple_xh is a inbuild pluginloader.

cmsimple 3.3 from cmsimple.org
yes in HX is, but HX doesnt work on php 4.1.1
