Hi everybody,
just curious, how you are putting together your CMSimple site... may be I can learn something from you.
Here's how I do it:
xampplite is running on my computer
I put CMSimple files + plugin files together in a directory
look at the files with PSpad and change things here and there
look at it in Firefox, change in Pspad, look in Firefox, change...
when it looks good, I check in Opera, Safari and IE6 and 8... and may have to do a little more in Pspad
finally I upload it with Filezilla to the internet.

There are some tutorials mentioned in this forum already. And studying ready made templates helps enormously. To build one's own templates requires to understand:
1. HTML and CSS Basics
2. the way CMSimple works - necessary calls and functions usable in templates
3. any of programmers'editors }PSPad, Notepad, Notepad++ a.o.
4. some application for graphics manipulation (IrfanView, RealDRaw, Photoshop...)
5. local server to work offline (XAMPP, WAMP, PHPEasy...)
...
6. Smart formulated questions with all necessary information put in this forum

It's no shame to ask for an answer if all efforts failed.
But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.
