Hello community,

I've just released Sitemapper_XH 1. It's available on my website.

Sitemapper_XH automatically creates a Sitemap of your CMSimple_XH installation. For detailed information about Sitemaps see http://www.sitemaps.org/.

From the changelog:
added plugin icon
extended copyright to 2012
added czech and polish translations (contributed by oldnema and learnandcode)

Any further feedback and translations are welcome.

Hello Community,

I've just released Sitemapper_XH 1pl1. Updating is recommended.

A severe bug was found by sareide (thanks for reporting), that caused wrong URLs for pages in subsites/second languages. This is fixed with this version.

And I found another issue: if pages are added or deleted from the editor, Sitemapper_XH will create a wrong sitemap. As workaround just save the content again directly after adding or deleting a page. I'll provide a clean solution for this issue in the near future, probably with a new plugin with some further features regarding SEO.

Any further feedback is welcome!

Hello Community,

I've just released Sitemapper_XH 1pl2.

I have fixed a minor bug and added a note about an important limitation; see the 3rd paragraph of the Limitations section in the user manual.

To resolve the limitations, I'll have to change the sitemaps to be created on the fly, what I'll do in version 2. I'm hoping to release 2beta1 in the next few weeks.

Hello Community,

I've just released Sitemapper_XH 2beta1.

You may want to stick with version 1 (and its limitations) until 2 is more widely tested.

Any feedback is welcome.

Christoph

PS: I have released a bug fix for version 1: Sitemapper_XH 1pl3.

Submitted sitmapper_sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools and got errors: An invalid date was found. Please fix the date or formatting before resubmitting.
Parent tag: url
Tag: lastmod

Other issue is related with clean URL. Sitemapper create sitemap index where after domain name is "?" (eg http://www.domain.com/?menu1). How to use clean URL in sitemap? Of course, links works also with "?".

I tested my sitemap with Google webmaster tools also, and the time format was ok. Anyway, there are two possibilities: either the formatting routine doesn't work as desired on your server, or there is an empty "lastedit" in pagedata.php. So, what is the exact date that has been wrong? Can you give a link to the sitemap?

I have not thought about clean URLs. I'll add an respective config option in the next release. For now you may change it in plugins/sitemapper/classes/controller.php line 181

Code: Select all

                    'loc' => SITEMAPPER_URL . $u[$i],

Thanks for the link.

The issue is fixed with Sitemapper_XH 2beta2. There's now a config option to use clean URLs, too.

Can't get Sitemapper beta2 work in one server. Google Webmaster Tools give error:

Sitemap: /?sitemapper_index
Type: ?
We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.
General HTTP error: 404 not found
HTTP Error: 404

Sitemapper link http://www.domain.com/?sitemapper_index working fine, just Google can't reach it.
Sitemapper system check is passed.
